ANAMAD Ltd. is currently involved in the following publicly funded projects;

Activated carbon from Macadamia waste.

The goal of this project is to engineer nut waste into nanoporous activated biochar with suitable properties for the removal of emerging contaminants from wastewater in Thailand, specifically from the most contaminated Southern Thai region. Nanoporous activated biochar will also be developed for the removal of specially challenging contaminants in UK drinking water that other activated carbons cannot remove. This project will add value to a current waste product from the Northern part of Thailand by making it useful for cleaning water through the transformation of its structure and surface chemistry.
